Before we start this months newsletter some important news.
As some of you may have heard, Jan has decided its time to close Cosmic Rainbow. At the age of 76 she feels its time to move on to the next chapter in her life. One which involves a little less responsibility and a little more recreation and relaxation.
So here are a few words from Jan in what will be our last Cosmic Rainbow Newsletter.
A letter from Jan
Dear Friends of Cosmic Rainbow,
Although a very hard thing to do I have decided to close the Cosmic Rainbow Crystal Shop. The current lease will end on the 31st of August and I feel at the age of 76 its a good time for me to 'retire'.
Cosmic Rainbow began in 1994 as a small party plan business. This grew to include Tarot readings and Reiki healings from my home in Watson. People were interested in learning about crystals and other therapies so with my education background I began running workshops from my converted garage. As interest grew and with amazing guidance from spirit and many special friends, I opened Cosmic Rainbow in Lyneham, selling crystals and running my own workshops and classes. More and more people got involved and we had lots of interesting activites going on from Yoga classes to meditation groups and drum circles. We had aura photos, spirit guide drawings, hot stone massage, palm readers, Fengshui classes and psychic mediums. It was an exciting energy I will never forget!
On September 1st 2006 we moved to our current premises at Ginninderra Village to concentrate more on supplying crystals and giving advice to our customers. Again there was much support from friends and wonderful spirit guides. They have lovingly guided us in many subtle ways and when I look back I see their guidance has been no less than miraculous and I leave in their hands what comes next.
So in the next few months I would love you all to come into the shop to say your goodbyes and soak up the energy for the last time.
We will be having a special gathering on Sunday the 19th August from 2pm to 4:30pm with myself, my lovely hardworking staff and those who have been part of Cosmic Rainbow along the way. Please come along. There will be light refreshments served. At 4:30pm we will have our final meditation group.

Teaching and Attunement to
Reiki Master Level

Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th June
Cost $400 Deposit $50
If you feel you are ready for attunement to this level, please make a time to see Jan and discuss with her your qualifications and previous experience in healing.
This level of Reiki brings your energy to a new, refined frequency for your personal development, strengthens your healing ability and qualifies you to teach others. you will need to have done plenty of practice and some spiritual preparation before doing the course.
You will study and discuss more aspects of healing and be attuned to the Master Level of the Usui method of Reiki.
You will also learn about and be attuned to the Seichem (Sekhem) method of healing which is similar to Reiki.
