PREPARING FOR SPRING

Have you done some hibernation during the winter? It's not too late. Winter is a great time to think about what doesn' work in your life and also what makes you happy and fulfilled. When we carry layer after layer of burdens without releasing some regularly, we lose the joy of living. Letting go of old patterns gives us room in our lives for new and exciting growth on our path.
So if you haven't take some quiet time alone to work on this you might like to start now. You don't have to do a whole lifetimes burdens at once but each one you release will make you feel a little lighter and brighter.
Some suggested steps to take for this:
Go to a quiet spot and surround yoursel with the protective white light
Decide what you would like to let go of
Affirm in your mind that your are ready to do this
Accept what you cannot change - acceptance is not the same as giving up. It is an act of faith and courage to hand over the problem to the Divine Plan
Forgive ourself and others lovingly
See the burden you have been carrying floating off to the Light to be absorbed
Open you heart to the energy of inner peace
Breathe in pink and gold light to your aura to completely fill it

FENG SHUI

Fen Shui is about arranging our homes, workplaces and gardens to bring harmony of energies. The flow of Chi ( or positive energy) meanders through the room distributing fresh energy. Sha (negative energy) rushes through in a straight line. An example of this is if your front door has a straight hallway leading to the back door. You need to place some indoor plants, hanging chimes, bells or suncatchers so it moves from one to the other and creates a better flow. If you have a corner where you think the energy feels stagnant try hanging some bells or something that moves to set the flow going.

Everything you own is connected to you by strands of energy. Therefore living with clutter is like carrying around a heavy load. When you release things that have no personal significance any more you feel lighter in mind, body and spirit and move forward more easily. While cleaning your cupboards an internal cleaning will also take place. You will learn a little more about yourself if you look at why you keep certain things. Clutter above your head - things hanging over you. Clutter on the floor level - being pulled down. Clearing clutter first helps your fen shui cures to work better.

Placing of feng shui items should be done with love and thanks for the benefits they will help bring.

Bells - attract good energy or hold it in a specific area
Suncatchers - attract chi and dissipate negative energy
Plants - stimulate energy and new growth - keep them healthy
Moving objects - made of natural materials stimulate the flow of chi
Natural crystals - can be used to generate chi in an areas as they radiate healing energy
Laughing buddah - represents all the good things of life
Lady Quan Yin - brings the energy of love and compassion
Dragons - for good fortune and protection
Elephant - usually placed in pairs either side of the front door - ones with elevated trunks herald good news so face into the room. Ones with trunks down are ready to defend you so should face outwards
Frogs - are good luck especially for money. Place in money corner.
Horses - represent movement and change, also attract travel
Lucky coins - attract money - place in money corner or purse or cash register
Bagwa mirrors - facing outwards from house deflect negative energy, add smokey quartz
Mandarin ducks - mate for life so go well in love corner
Fans - help distribute positive energy and are lucky

Crystals for Children

The energy emitted from crystals can help to bring our own energy into balance and harmony. Many children are able to easily connect with these crystal energies. Often they will intuitively select what they need.

Sometimes parents, aware of their needs, can choose a stone that will help in a particular way. So this list may be helpful but please remember if your child needs professional help use the crystal to support this rather than replace it.

Your child needs to have a belief that the crystal is special and personal so when you get a new one show them how to hold it under a running tap to clean it, then place it in their hands and tell them that this crystal has come to be their friend and help them.

Next decide how you will use it - under pillow, beside bed, in pocket, in a drawstring bag etc.

The numerological influence on the whole woeld for 2009 is number 11/2. this is calculated by adding the numbers in 2009 - 2+0+0+9=11. The number 11 can be a double influence of 11 and 2 as 1+1=2.

the energy of number 11 is powerful and can test the strength of our integrity. When used positively it can provide leadership that is inspired to bring about justice, fairness and honesty. Sudden events may require quick decisions so old blocks and prejudices need to be left behind and intuitve guidance sought for the way ahead. The energy of the 2 is quite different and according to where we are on our pathway, we may move from one to the other or just use either. The influence of number 2 is of diplomacy, tact and patience. It encourages us to use the skills of conciliation and meditation. There could be a tendency to want peace at any price to be watched for. The number 2 encourages co-operation to discuss and plan for how we will plant the seeds for future events that may cause either disagreement or co-operation. So you see there are tremendous potentials if the world opens to this energy in a positive way. If we try to use the energy in our own lives for good it will help to strengthen the world energy.

Cosmic Rainbow Meditation Groups

We currently have two meditation groups that meet.

Jan hosts a short guided meditation on Sunday at 4:30 - 6pm. This takes the form of some relaxation, a short guided meditation leading into approximately 20 minutes of quiet time.

After meditation please stay for a cup of tea or coffee.

Combining Birth Order and Iris patterns

Rayid started as an original and unique system of iris analysis. When it became very popular in South America, Denny Johnson formulated a new way of doing a consultation using birth order. In recent years it has become apparent that the 2 systems form one holistic system. The genetic patterns of the iris relate to the genetic history of the relationships in the family tree of our grandparents.

We will discuss which iris patterns relate to which birth order and Grandparent positions and look at photos of different iris patterns.

USING CRYSTALS TO HEAL THE CHAKRAS

Charkas are energy centres that receive or transmit energy through our aura. The aura (our personal energy field) absorbs energy from outside itself and passes it along its various layers to the chakra attuned to the frequency of the energy entering. The chakras then send the energy to the endocrine glands which nourish the body systems associated with them.

There are many chakras but the main ones we work with in healing with crystals are as follows:

• Crown - Top of the head
• Third Eye - centre of forehead
• Throat - at base of throat
• Heart - centre of the chest
• Solar plexis - top of abdomen
• Sacral - below navel
• Base - at base of spine
• Earth - between feet

Steps to follow:

• Cleanse the crystals you have chosen - under running water or visualise the white light flowing through it
• Visualise the room filled with Healing Light and yourself in an egg of light for protection
• Lie down and place the crystals on your chakra points starting from the crown and working downwards or from the feet working upwards
• Relax and meditate or put on some soft, gentle music

Focus your attention on each of the chakras in turn and imagine them spiralling round being brought into balance and harmony. Spend whatever time you like doing this. When finished give thanks to the crystals and to the healing light. Surround yourself with protective light . Come back gently. Remove the stones and later cleanse them. Ground yourself with a glass of water or a cup of tea.

• Hold the crystal in you hand and place it on the chakra while sitting
• Carry them around in pocket or pouch
• Put them under bed or pillow
• Wear as jewellery
• Place them somewhere in your home
