What path will we choose for ourselves in 2012?

The numerological influence on the world for 2012 is number 5

Numerology indicates that we go through cycles of influence every nine years. Each year has its own individual influence. The numbers one to nine all have a different focus so knowledge of this can help us to work with that focus instead of against it. Each year brings its own particular opportunities, lessons and direction.

The energy of a number 5 year is of change, adaptability and freedom.

The world has an opportunity this yer to work towards freeing itself from the old, outmoded ideas and practises in order to replace them with new and enlightened ways.

Clear Quartz Crystals

Quartz crystals are formed when sand combines with water under special conditions of temperature and pressure such as volcanic eruptions. They grow slowly over millions of years and no two crystals are exactly the same.

Clear quartz amplifies, transforms, stores and transfers energy on the physical level in watches, TVs, lasers, etc, and can also affect the energy on the emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Because of these special properties, clear quartz crystals can be programmed to help with meditation, healing, channelling, and whatever you wish them to help with.

Programming a crystal: A very simple way is to cleanse your crystal by holding it under a running tap and visualising white light flowing through it to clear and cleanse away old energies it may have picked up that are not in tune with you. Then sit quietly with it and ask it to help you in whatever way you want (for healing, meditation, inner peace, love, communication with guidance, etc.)

Many clear quartz crystals have specific formations that tell us what would be the specific purpose they can be used for. For example two crystals growing up side by side in the same direction are called soulmate crystals and can be used to help bring in a soulmate. A crystal with seven sides to one of the top facets and a triangle behind it is called a channelling crystal and helps to recieve and transmit guidance. You will find clear quartz crystals in Cosmic Rainbow that have been marked with their names.

WHAT IS REIKI?

The word Reiki means universal life force energy. When we treat a person with Reiki, we do this by laying our hands on or above various parts of the body to channel the life force energy to them in order to bring them into balance and harmony on all levels.

This supports the body's natural ability to heal. It can help loosen up blocked energy, brings relaxation and feels so good.

There are many kinds of healing. What sets Reiki aside from others is the attunement to specific symbols given in the late 1800's to Dr Usui, it's Founder.

These symbols are used with each healing to connect us to the life force energy, to provide protection, centering and grounding.

With Reiki we always know we are connected to the loving healing light and very safe. Using a Pendulum

Before you begin, the pendulum needs to be cleansed to release old energies it has picked up - wash under tap, visualise it filled up with light from the Universal source.

Always place yourself in the Light before and after using the pendulum (for protection).

You need to attune it to your own energy. To do this sit and connect to it asking for your tool to bring information and guidance from your Higher Self and to always work in the light.

When you are ready, loosely loop the chain around your index finger in a way that feels comfortable. Relax.

Establish what will be your way of telling you a yes and a no. Hold it in your right hand and say "Please show me what will be the YES answer". The pendulum will either swing clockwise or anti-clockwise or back and forward.

That will always mean yes for you.

Next ask it to show you a NO answer. It will then swing a different way.

Trust this and do not try to trick the pendulum with silly questions.

Now you are ready to use the pendulum - practice makes perfect.

Focus on what you want to know and ask your question.

The symmetrical pattern in between focuses the energy flow. The colours used are sending their energy frequencies too.

A mandala can be used as a meditation tool to still and focus the mind and allow the inner self to be expressed. Our ancestors knew the power of the mandala and created their own - medicine wheels - Stonehenge - Celtic spirals & circle dances.

We can create our own mandalas as a personal tool for healing and enlightenment by drawing a circle on paper marking a central point and colouring in whatever pattern you are inspired to decorate it with. The completed mandala can be put on a wall so that the energy reaches out and fills the room and connects with you each time you pass it.

Or you can make a grid on the earth or on the floor with a circle of crystals, a central crystal and then place others wherever you feel is right. Meditation while sitting in such a circle is truly special.

Remember when meditating with your mandala to clear the energy in the space you are using and surround yourself with light before you start. If using crystals cleanse them and dedicate them to your purpose.

If you have a particular issue to meditate on ask your mandala to help you focus to find a solutions and healing for the issue. Visualise your mandala filled with love and place your problem within it then ask for guidance as to how you can best solve the problem. Listen to your Higher Self.

For Your Information

The Power of Love

This is an inner power that is controlled by our opinion of ourselves. If we truly believe that we are worthy and lovable then no one can destroy us.

Because love is so important we need to learn about it in stages. Firstly in the family where we need loving to feel safe and worthwhile.

Next as we expand our horizons we experience the energy of love through interacting with others outside the family. Here we learn lessons about giving and receiving and setting boundaries.

Our next lesson is about now we develop self esteem - do we rate ourselves according to material possessions or power or can we accept ourselves as we are - lovable.

Loving ourselves as we are can require courage to look within and discover who we truly are - and loving whatever we see. To look at yourself with love you need to face the dark and light parts of yourself, forgive yourself for not being perfect and respect yourself for doing the best you could at the time - then learn from your experience.

Words are powerful so we need to learn how to speak lovingly to ourselves and about ourselves to reinforce that positive image.

After becoming more self-loving we can move to look at and work on our relationship with the higher power that guides us. Do we feel a connection with the Universal Love? How do we achieve this? This is a personal experience and so we each find our own way by trusting our intuition and showing gratitude for each step on the pathway.

Love overcomes fear.

If you feel any of these stage have not been developed well, take charge of your life and send LOVE to the person you were then so you may heal.
