How Do Crystals Heal Us?
Although crystals have been used in technology for a long time now, our TV's, radios, watches, lasers to name a few, most people don't realise their higher purpose is for healing and they are extremely good at it.
Crystals are constantly sending out their own individual frequency, and when we are with them we are able to absorb that energy to bring us into balance, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. That is why we find ourselves attracted to certain crystals and not to others, so it is important to follow your intuition when you choose a crystal. Trust yourself.
Crystal healing is a form of vibrational healing as we are using the energy vibrations sent out by the by the crystals to heal imbalances and blocks in our energy field - in other words, in our aura. Our aura constantly recieves and absorbs the energy around us (not visible, but it can be photographed) and uses it to nourish us.
Our bodies are truly marvellous and do all they can to keep us in perfect balance. When we need more oxygen, we breathe faster and deeper - an automatic response. When we are in need of water, we feel thristy - a message to do something to help ourselves. When we need to do something to change our lives, we feel pain, stress, the general sense of something being out of balance. By heading these subtle messages from our bodies, we can bring ourselves back to a healthy state - preventive medicine.
Use a relaxing crystal such as aventurine or blue lace agate to help with stress. When we are in need of emotional nuturing we can use rose quartz or lepidolite or smokey quartz. When we are in need of more confidence, we can use carnelien or garnet.
How do we use the crystals?
We can place them on our body in a particular layout that is designed to help the body absorb all the energy it needs. We can carry them around. We can sit and hold them. We can put them under our pillow or bed. We can meditate with them. We can hold them to a body part that is troubling us. We can wear them as jewellery. We can place them in our home or garden.
Always surround yourself and your crystal with protection before you do any healing or meditating. Call on the white light to fill the whole of you (physical and aura) and to place a shield around you so only positive, loving energy may enter.
You always need to clense and new crystal before you use it so you release the old energies and bring in ones that are in tune with you. One way to do this is to visualise your crystal filled with golden light and ask for any energy not in tune with you to be neutralised and the crystal filled with positive energy.
