What path will we choose for ourselves in 2012?

The numerological influence on the world for 2012 is number 5

The energy of a number 5 year is of change, adaptability and freedom.

The world has an opportunity this yer to work towards freeing itself from the old, outmoded ideas and practises in order to replace them with new and enlightened ways.

Clear Quartz Crystals

Quartz crystals are formed when sand combines with water under special conditions of temperature and pressure such as volcanic eruptions. They grow slowly over millions of years and no two crystals are exactly the same.

Clear quartz amplifies, transforms, stores and transfers energy on the physical level in watches, TVs, lasers, etc, and can also affect the energy on the emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Because of these special properties, clear quartz crystals can be programmed to help with meditation, healing, channelling, and whatever you wish them to help with.

Programming a crystal: A very simple way is to cleanse your crystal by holding it under a running tap and visualising white light flowing through it to clear and cleanse away old energies it may have picked up that are not in tune with you. Then sit quietly with it and ask it to help you in whatever way you want (for healing, meditation, inner peace, love, communication with guidance, etc.)

Many clear quartz crystals have specific formations that tell us what would be the specific purpose they can be used for. For example two crystals growing up side by side in the same direction are called soulmate crystals and can be used to help bring in a soulmate. A crystal with seven sides to one of the top facets and a triangle behind it is called a channelling crystal and helps to recieve and transmit guidance. You will find clear quartz crystals in Cosmic Rainbow that have been marked with their names.

WHAT IS REIKI?

The word Reiki means universal life force energy. When we treat a person with Reiki, we do this by laying our hands on or above various parts of the body to channel the life force energy to them in order to bring them into balance and harmony on all levels.

This supports the body's natural ability to heal. It can help loosen up blocked energy, brings relaxation and feels so good.

There are many kinds of healing. What sets Reiki aside from others is the attunement to specific symbols given in the late 1800's to Dr Usui, it's Founder.

These symbols are used with each healing to connect us to the life force energy, to provide protection, centering and grounding.

With Reiki we always know we are connected to the loving healing light and very safe. Using a Pendulum

Before you begin, the pendulum needs to be cleansed to release old energies it has picked up - wash under tap, visualise it filled up with light from the Universal source.

Always place yourself in the Light before and after using the pendulum (for protection).

You need to attune it to your own energy. To do this sit and connect to it asking for your tool to bring information and guidance from your Higher Self and to always work in the light.

When you are ready, loosely loop the chain around your index finger in a way that feels comfortable. Relax.

Establish what will be your way of telling you a yes and a no. Hold it in your right hand and say "Please show me what will be the YES answer". The pendulum will either swing clockwise or anti-clockwise or back and forward.

That will always mean yes for you.

Next ask it to show you a NO answer. It will then swing a different way.

Trust this and do not try to trick the pendulum with silly questions.

Now you are ready to use the pendulum - practice makes perfect.

Focus on what you want to know and ask your question.

The Mandala

A mandala is a circle holding within it geometrical, symbolic and energy patterns. They have an outer ring which symbolises our earthly self and a central point where we may move through and connect to our inner self and our spiritual life. The symmetrical pattern in between focuses the energy flow. The colours used are sending their energy frequencies too.

They occur in nature as flowers, snowflakes and spiders webs.

A mandala can be used as a meditation tool to still and focus the mind and allow the inner self to be expressed. Our ancestors knew the power of the mandala and created their own - medicine wheels - Stonehenge - Celtic spirals & circle dances.

We can create our own mandalas as a personal tool for healing and enlightenment by drawing a circle on paper marking a central point and colouring in whatever pattern you are inspired to decorate it with. The completed mandala can be put on a wall so that the energy reaches out and fills the room and connects with you each time you pass it.

Or you can make a grid on the earth or on the floor with a circle of crystals, a central crystal and then place others wherever you feel is right. Meditation while sitting in such a circle is truly special.

Remember when meditating with your mandala to clear the energy in the space you are using and surround yourself with light before you start. If using crystals cleanse them and dedicate them to your purpose.

If you have a particular issue to meditate on ask your mandala to help you focus to find a solutions and healing for the issue. Visualise your mandala filled with love and place your problem within it then ask for guidance as to how you can best solve the problem. Listen to your Higher Self.

The Power of Love

This is an inner power that is controlled by our opinion of ourselves. If we truly believe that we are worthy and lovable then no one can destroy us.

Because love is so important we need to learn about it in stages. Firstly in the family where we need loving to feel safe and worthwhile.

Next as we expand our horizons we experience the energy of love through interacting with others outside the family. Here we learn lessons about giving and receiving and setting boundaries.

Our next lesson is about now we develop self esteem - do we rate ourselves according to material possessions or power or can we accept ourselves as we are - lovable.

Loving ourselves as we are can require courage to look within and discover who we truly are - and loving whatever we see. To look at yourself with love you need to face the dark and light parts of yourself, forgive yourself for not being perfect and respect yourself for doing the best you could at the time - then learn from your experience.

Words are powerful so we need to learn how to speak lovingly to ourselves and about ourselves to reinforce that positive image.

After becoming more self-loving we can move to look at and work on our relationship with the higher power that guides us. Do we feel a connection with the Universal Love? How do we achieve this? This is a personal experience and so we each find our own way by trusting our intuition and showing gratitude for each step on the pathway.

Love overcomes fear.

If you feel any of these stage have not been developed well, take charge of your life and send LOVE to the person you were then so you may heal.

Each number being a symbol has its own energy frequency as an influence. Numerology analyses the birth date and name at birth and from this comes a profile of the person as an individual and information about the particular energy vibrations that are influencing them at various stages of their life.

Many people change thier names during their life and this can influence how they express themselves and carry out their destiny but we can never alter the main plan as indicated in the birth date and name given at birth.

Each letter in the alphabet has a number so by adding together the vowels or the consonants or the whole name we find the beginnings of the plan and by adding the birth date we find what we already have in us to work with.

Here is how to add you birth date:

For the birth date of 27/11/1986 we add 2+7+1+1+1+9+8+6=35

All number are reduced to a single digit so this means 35 = 3+5= 8

Water Energy

The element of water relates to our emotions, sometimes they are gentle, sometimes stormy. It can cleanse, purify and wash away stagnant parts of our lives to make space for new beginnings. Like in a river there needs to be a balance in the flow so we experience the fury of the rapids and also the deep serene pool - movement and stillness.

In contrast polluted water or water exposed to negative thoughts formed incomplete and dull patterns.

Fire energy is the life force of the earth and its power is seen in its molten core.

Fire is a force for change and purification leading to new growth.

Think of the new life that can come to the earth after a bushfire. All the old undergrowth becomes compost to enrich the earth.

Fire is an energy of activity and action that urges us to understand and release the blocks that have been holding us back from becoming our full potential. How Do Crystals Heal Us?

Although crystals have been used in technology for a long time now, our TV's, radios, watches, lasers to name a few, most people don't realise their higher purpose is for healing and they are extremely good at it.

Crystals are constantly sending out their own individual frequency, and when we are with them we are able to absorb that energy to bring us into balance, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. That is why we find ourselves attracted to certain crystals and not to others, so it is important to follow your intuition when you choose a crystal. Trust yourself.

Crystal healing is a form of vibrational healing as we are using the energy vibrations sent out by the by the crystals to heal imbalances and blocks in our energy field - in other words, in our aura. Our aura constantly recieves and absorbs the energy around us (not visible, but it can be photographed) and uses it to nourish us.

Our bodies are truly marvellous and do all they can to keep us in perfect balance. When we need more oxygen, we breathe faster and deeper - an automatic response. When we are in need of water, we feel thristy - a message to do something to help ourselves. When we need to do something to change our lives, we feel pain, stress, the general sense of something being out of balance. By heading these subtle messages from our bodies, we can bring ourselves back to a healthy state - preventive medicine.

Use a relaxing crystal such as aventurine or blue lace agate to help with stress. When we are in need of emotional nuturing we can use rose quartz or lepidolite or smokey quartz. When we are in need of more confidence, we can use carnelien or garnet.

How do we use the crystals?

We can place them on our body in a particular layout that is designed to help the body absorb all the energy it needs. We can carry them around. We can sit and hold them. We can put them under our pillow or bed. We can meditate with them. We can hold them to a body part that is troubling us. We can wear them as jewellery. We can place them in our home or garden.

Always surround yourself and your crystal with protection before you do any healing or meditating. Call on the white light to fill the whole of you (physical and aura) and to place a shield around you so only positive, loving energy may enter.

You always need to clense and new crystal before you use it so you release the old energies and bring in ones that are in tune with you. One way to do this is to visualise your crystal filled with golden light and ask for any energy not in tune with you to be neutralised and the crystal filled with positive energy.

Cycles of nine years run through the history of the world bringing different energy frequency influences. Each cycle brings its own opportunities, lessons and a push in a certain direction. When we work positively with these energies we can lift the darkness and depression affecting many people.

Working with number three energy helps us to see how we can influence the world close around us by saying or doing something to lift the spirits of those we come in contact with. PREPARING FOR SPRING

Have you done some hibernation during the winter? It's not too late. Winter is a great time to think about what doesn' work in your life and also what makes you happy and fulfilled. When we carry layer after layer of burdens without releasing some regularly, we lose the joy of living. Letting go of old patterns gives us room in our lives for new and exciting growth on our path.

FENG SHUI

Fen Shui is about arranging our homes, workplaces and gardens to bring harmony of energies. The flow of Chi ( or positive energy) meanders through the room distributing fresh energy. Sha (negative energy) rushes through in a straight line. An example of this is if your front door has a straight hallway leading to the back door. You need to place some indoor plants, hanging chimes, bells or suncatchers so it moves from one to the other and creates a better flow. If you have a corner where you think the energy feels stagnant try hanging some bells or something that moves to set the flow going.

Everything you own is connected to you by strands of energy. Therefore living with clutter is like carrying around a heavy load. When you release things that have no personal significance any more you feel lighter in mind, body and spirit and move forward more easily. While cleaning your cupboards an internal cleaning will also take place. You will learn a little more about yourself if you look at why you keep certain things. Clutter above your head - things hanging over you. Clutter on the floor level - being pulled down. Clearing clutter first helps your fen shui cures to work better.

Placing of feng shui items should be done with love and thanks for the benefits they will help bring.

Crystals for Children

The energy emitted from crystals can help to bring our own energy into balance and harmony. Many children are able to easily connect with these crystal energies. Often they will intuitively select what they need.

Sometimes parents, aware of their needs, can choose a stone that will help in a particular way. So this list may be helpful but please remember if your child needs professional help use the crystal to support this rather than replace it.

Your child needs to have a belief that the crystal is special and personal so when you get a new one show them how to hold it under a running tap to clean it, then place it in their hands and tell them that this crystal has come to be their friend and help them.

What path will we choose for ourselves in 2009

The numerological influence on the whole woeld for 2009 is number 11/2. this is calculated by adding the numbers in 2009 - 2+0+0+9=11. The number 11 can be a double influence of 11 and 2 as 1+1=2.

the energy of number 11 is powerful and can test the strength of our integrity. When used positively it can provide leadership that is inspired to bring about justice, fairness and honesty. Sudden events may require quick decisions so old blocks and prejudices need to be left behind and intuitve guidance sought for the way ahead. The energy of the 2 is quite different and according to where we are on our pathway, we may move from one to the other or just use either. The influence of number 2 is of diplomacy, tact and patience. It encourages us to use the skills of conciliation and meditation. There could be a tendency to want peace at any price to be watched for. Combining Birth Order and Iris patterns

Rayid started as an original and unique system of iris analysis. When it became very popular in South America, Denny Johnson formulated a new way of doing a consultation using birth order. In recent years it has become apparent that the 2 systems form one holistic system. USING CRYSTALS TO HEAL THE CHAKRAS

Charkas are energy centres that receive or transmit energy through our aura. The aura (our personal energy field) absorbs energy from outside itself and passes it along its various layers to the chakra attuned to the frequency of the energy entering. The chakras then send the energy to the endocrine glands which nourish the body systems associated with them.

There are many chakras but the main ones we work with in healing with crystals are as follows:

Crown - Top of the head
Third Eye - centre of forehead
Throat - at base of throat
Heart - centre of the chest
Solar plexis - top of abdomen
Sacral - below navel
Base - at base of spine
Earth - between feet

Steps to follow:

Cleanse the crystals you have chosen - under running water or visualise the white light flowing through it
Visualise the room filled with Healing Light and yourself in an egg of light for protection
Lie down and place the crystals on your chakra points starting from the crown and working downwards or from the feet working upwards
Relax and meditate or put on some soft, gentle music

Focus your attention on each of the chakras in turn and imagine them spiralling round being brought into balance and harmony. Spend whatever time you like doing this. When finished give thanks to the crystals and to the healing light. Surround yourself with protective light . Come back gently. Remove the stones and later cleanse them. Ground yourself with a glass of water or a cup of tea.
